How to avoid a fake on Amazon
Check who it's sold by
Under the Buy button, look for the "Sold by" line. adidas, Nike or an established soccer retailer with a long review history is a safe bet. A seller with a random name and no track record is not.
Look for the maker's name
Official listings name adidas (Madrid) or Nike (Barça) in the title. Listings called "Madrid #10 fan version" or similar, with no brand, are unlicensed copies.
Be wary of a too-good price
A new-season shirt at a fraction of the club store's price is almost never genuine. Discounts on current kits are rare until the season is well under way.
